HowDidYou
This bass is for sale in my favourite music shop, for a really good price. So I'm thinking about getting one. I was never blow away with jazz bass, but this one looks like a great deal. On soundclips it sounds very good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojYxviEe4F8
Damonjames
I have a schector model T and it is amazing. I would have no hesitation in recommend them as manufacturer, just really depends if you want a jazz I guess!
HowDidYou
Most of the jazz basses I've played sounded very soft and gentle sounding, and I don't like that. This one sounds a lot different on soundclips.
EliasMooseblaster
Another Model T owner here - I haven't tried the Jazz but if it's anything like Schecter's other Fender-alikes it's probably a great instrument. The Model T, for me, was like a halfway step between wanting something better than a MIM Fender but not being able to afford a MIA one! Damonjames
With jazz basses, it all comes down to pickup choice. I agree Mexican jazz basses to me sound quite thin and brittle and uninspiring. I installed dimarzio dp123 jazz pickups in mine and it's a beast. They are humbucking dual coils, and are quite hot, the bridge pickup could almost compete with my quarter pounder p alone
bakerster135
Robert De Leo (Stone Temple Pilots) uses one here. Sounds nice and pretty heavy, when you can hear it!...
cocco
I really want one of these too! The price is ridiculous.
UglyDog
Do you like the way it looks? If youve played it, do you like the way it feels and sounds? Is the price good? Can you afford it? If those are mostly/all "yes"s, then yes you do want Schecter Jazz Edited June 10, 2014 by UglyDog
Grassie
I'd have one like a shot. Schecter have an excellent reputation for their QC, and I'd choose this over a MIM Fender any day.
discreet
I think you probably do. Looks and sounds great and is relatively affordable.
gsgbass
I couple of players I know using Schecters, really like them. If you like it, go for it.

AntLockyer
I'd like a Schecter. Always fancied a 7 string guitar from them.
