Oliver's Army transcription?

Hi,

I've been hunting for a decent transcription of Oliver's Army. I've never really paid attention to the bass on it before, and it is certainly much busier than I expected!

I'm not a big fan of the text based tabs which are common on the internet, but that's all I can find for this.

I've looked at some of the sites listed on here with no luck.

Can anyone help? Either dots or proper tab would be ideal!

Thanks

If you go on musicnotes.com, there's a transcription there. Not sure how good it is, but the first page looks pretty accurate to me. It's not a song I like playing to be honest, but soon I'll be playing it on a weekly basis, so godda get it nailed!

The other way as others have said is to simply listen to it over and over again. I always learn things in sections; it's never good to just sit and play it all the way through as you'll find yourself making the same mistakes, and learning the mistakes instead of what you're actually meant to play.

....That's what I was hoping to avoid!....

You should be working this stuff out by ear. It will improve your ability to identify the notes by their sound which will improve your playing.

Generally do, I've just been hit with 40+ new songs to learn in a short space of time.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for their help.
