redbandit599
Hi all Just realised that I've lost one of the little end caps that fits into the bottom of the machine head on my Sandberg. It must just have worked loose and fell out. Now, I can't tell the manufacturer of the tuner, there is nothing printed on it but it's a pretty classic design. As seen on this link to the Thomann website (it shows the tuners clearer on here than on the Sandberg site.) http://www.thomann.de/gb/sandberg_california_jm5_mn_natur_matt.htm Any idea where I can get the replacement part? Don't really want or need a whole new tuner. Thanks all Jason
redbandit599
Think they might be Gotoh GB2s?
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Could try ch guitars. They stock loads of parts for basses/guitars etc.
SubsonicSimpleton
Maybe try posting a picture of your bass, clearly showing the machinehead with the missing part and at least one other machinehead without the part missing. If it is the cog retaining screw, then the best bet is take one of the others to an engineers merchant who will be able to identify the correct thread size and should be ably to provide you with a replacement that will keep the bass functional even if you cannot get an exact cosmetic match.
