Graham
The sun is shining, so it's come round to that time of year when I dig out my Offpring, Operation Ivy, Less Than Jake and Capdown records. I've had The Offspring on pretty heavy rotation the last couple of days, and it's (finally) hit home how good Greg K is, his tone and feel are great, never does anything flashy - just anchors the songs together and drives it along; also seems to be able to handle anything thrown at him. His personality, both in playing and live performance always seems quite subdued and shy, which is probably why it's taken years of listening to the band and writing him off as a player for me to finally realise how important to the sound he is. 40hz
Amen! I love his playing and the tone he gets from his ATK. Me and my old lady is probably my fave line. Edited June 11, 2014 by 40hz

Graham
There's not a lot that appeals to me at Download this year, and most of what does clashes with something else, however I am a bit jealous that they're playing Smash in it's entirety. Subbeh
They're the main reason I got a friday ticket, though I'm hoping to see some Royal Blood and maybe Temperance Movement as well. Edited June 11, 2014 by Subbeh
Graham
Friday I'd watch, Offspring, Flogging Molly, Opeth (who clash with Offspring), Anathema, Rival Sons and that's about it. I've just remembered Pretty Fly was one of the first songs I worked out by ear, I was so proud when I got it right
Subbeh
Listening to Have You Ever, always loved his tone on that track. The riff from about 2:45 onward really sounds fantastic!

skej21
Self Esteem was one of the bass lines that really got me wanting to play bass! Great band and a superb bassist! http://youtu.be/CkFH0KMO0G0 Edited June 13, 2014 by skej21
