Danelectro DC 59 Shorthorn reissue Bass

Has anyone any idea where i might get my hands on one of these basses? I have tried a few shops local and in London and have even rang the distributer JHS but no luck. I'm keeping my eye on E bay all the time and have only seen a lefty come up in the last 6 months.
I saw an american band, The Del Lords and the bass (Strung with flats) just sounded like the fattest thing I have ever heard.

I would also love to get my hands on one of these. In the ten years that I've been playing (on and off) I haven't seen one up for sale though. Maybe it's just bad luck.

I have one. And I adore it!!! Took about 8 years to find one that didnt cost the world. Ebay, here abd a bunch of other places- then found one in the second hand section of the music ahop in my new home town on the other side of the world.

Silver sparkle

Recently got one of these in silver/gold black sparkle, and it's a beaut.
They do crop up occasionally, will keep my eyes open and let you know if I see anything.
