Levy's MSS8 strap up for grabs. This is a high quality strap, used but plenty of life left in it. It is 2" wide, made of polypropylene (softer and more comfortable than nylon) with leather ends. Nice tooled leather Levy's logo badge on the front. Adjustable to 54".

You're very right! More comfortable and less slippery than nylon, and less prone than leather to stretching/warping.

Doubt you'll find one cheaper than this...
