BassTractor
A guy had damage in several bits of gear (an expensive SVT was among them. Ouch!) after a storm with lightning whilst he was away. His TC BG250 had the VDR (protection resistor) blown up, but he tried bypassing it for testing, and yes: the amp still works. Now he wants to put in a new VDR, but can't find its value. Anyone in the know, can find out quickly or help us to find out? On the printboard, it's R4 (no value info on the board). The guy tried TC, but it's friday evening... Thanks! Bill Fitzmaurice
Google 'schematic' for the amp, chances are it's out there.
BassTractor
Thanks, Bill, but this guy has already spent hours searching. Should've mentioned that, but it escaped my mind.
