The music I'm too be playing is going lot heavier than my previous project ,kasabian, pearl jam prog rock that sort of style ,i have markbass blackline head 250watts into 8 ohms so want something too compliment this head .thanks in advance .kev Edited June 14, 2014 by kevvo66
Lozz196
For a one cab does all, in a small portable cab, I`d look at this Schroeder. It is slightly over budget at £350 but for your needs, I reckon it`s the ideal solution: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/226295-schroeder-1212l-l350-devilered/
discreet
^ ^ I agree - the Schroeder 1212L is a total powerhouse and will get you heard in any situation. Edit: It handles 800W RMS @ 4ohms and weighs 19kg, too... Your Markbass Blackline is rated 150W at 8ohms and 250W at 4ohms. Weststarx
I use this along with my Laney RB9 300watt head. http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Laney-RB410-Bass-Speaker-Cabinet/EN4?origin=product-ads&gclid=CM2ehMWc-b4CFasBwwodejcAOA I'm a skinny guy and I can manage carrying it on my own
Roger2611
If you are lucky you may pick up a used Markbass 102 traveller cab, they are fantastic and nice and light
thisnameistaken
+1 for the Schroeder. I've been using a 1212L for about five years now, great cab.
Damonjames
Barefaced get lots of love around here but I really like the Gallien Krueger Neo cabs. The 212 is really punchy, not too heavy and reasonably sized, depends how loud you need to be though. I run mine with a 115 and it's awesome
