theyellowcar Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 I have one of these. It's been an absolute workhorse for 10 years now. Great basses.
garethox Posted June 19, 2014 Author Posted June 19, 2014 Yep... they are really great basses. Very versatile.
theyellowcar Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Has the market really slowed this much?! For £75 more than most are asking for a used Standard P you're getting a noiseless Jazz pickup, Jazz neck, 3 band EQ and a US bridge! Bonafide bargain. Have another bump on me and GLWTS.
Leon Transaxle Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I have exactly the same bass. Great sound, great colour. Good luck with the sale.
garethox Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 Can't believe no one has made me an offer bump!
karlfer Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014
Is this a mehicano?
Yes it is. I have a FSR passive version in Sea Foam Pearl and it is the ONLY bass I gig with now. My Alembic, Thumb, Sadowsky, all gone. The Mex FSR passive will do everything from Etta James to Diamond Head, all with a jazz neck, no effects and without breaking into a sweat. Unlike me
garethox Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 Yep, Mexico born and bred. I tried both the USA and Mexico models and could detect no major differences playing wise so saved meself a ton of dough and went south! Like Karlfer I sold pretty much everything else and just used this active version.
