Funky Dunky
I cried when I listened to Deconstruction. Such crushing disappointment.
Can you elaborate? Was it just a case of the songs didn't do it for you, or were there other reasons? BILL POSTERS
Great album.
Local lad to you as well. S'funny people just dont realise how much influence he's had. Most people under 50 probably never heard of him.

yorks5stringer
Just got a couple of newies: First Aid Kit-Stay Gold and Mark Ronson, Uptown Funk. The First Aid kit was something I would not have bought new but maybe reduced in 18 months time but Google gave me it. Really enjoying the voices and arrangements, love to play with a band like this, so fresh and different. Mark Ronson apart from the obvious track sounds like one of those "Best of Funk" Albums, lots of decent separate tracks but not a cohesive album. Find myself irritated by the lack of continuity in musical moods.

BILL POSTERS
Feelgoods, Chess Masters. A truly excellent album. Cant understand why people knock the current Feelgoods just cos theres no original members, Time moves on. Class act if you see em live, and thoroughly nice chaps to boot. Telebass
Judith Owen, Ebb and Flow. Nice music, best backing band in the world. Seeing her and them (and going as much for them as her!) in Totnes on March 7th.

BobVbass
Blackberry Smoke - Holding all The Roses Love the band, Little piece of Dixie is a great album if you like Southern Rock, The Whipporwill is good. This new one has some good songs but the production seems awful to me - loads of middle and no clarity, can't really hear the guitars or keyboards, maybe I just need to tune into it. Interestingly the Producer was the chap that does AC/DC so maybe he's tried the same settings as them, not sure it's worked..... Actually I tried listening to it on my ipod today and it sounds great so I wonder whether they've purposefully mixed it for small speakers or something....
