thepurpleblob
I just bought the deluxe edition of Mansun's Attack of the Grey Lantern. From back in those '90s. I'd forgotten what a great band they are...

Roland Rock
I love the Tune Yards, some really inventive pop; quirky and sometimes verging on the psychedelic. This song is more old school, and well worth a watch all the way through. Superb voice, music with space, and a definite early Zepplin vibe imo http://youtu.be/UNkP-mbBMLo Edited November 10, 2017 by Roland Rock

Frankieabbott
Matt Monro. Pitch and diction perfect....and sumptious orchestrations. Better than Sinatra in my humble opinion.

progben
Got the new Primus album on. Somehow they've managed to do something even more weird and left-field than usual... Seems like a bit of a marmite release, but despite some issues, I always love Les' playing.
mikebass456
Currently listening to the new Dead South disc. Check out the video for the track called In Hell I'll Be In Good Company - bass player playing a cello like a normal bass. Very cool....... Balcro
First came across this while looking up turntables on youtube. One click led to another and then oooo.. I wouldn't have bothered normally, too many screeching guitarists to avoid, but this just has it. lowdown
Been listening to 'Vince Mendoza' a lot recently. His composing and arranging chops are terrific. Here he is conducting the fantastic Metropole Orchestra.

Fisheth
One of the bands I've recently booked has just put out an EP, I like it a lot, very theatrical... Reminds me of Alice Cooper in lyrical content, certainly more hard rock than metal and for some reason, the verses of the first track sound like they could be part of an Industrial album (KMFDM, etc) at least the drums do, it's also insanely accessible which is partially the reason for the booking. but it works for me. What are you guys checking out right now? Always wanting to hear more music!
