At the moment I've got Ellen Foley's new album Fighting Words on repeat. Although her voice isn't as powerful as it was in the Meat Loaf years, the musicality and emotion is as strong as it ever was.

They may not have had the technical skill of the current top riders but they had balls the size of water melons, endless determination and heaps of personality. 

We snuck in to the paddock at Brands once, I shouted something (nothing intentionally rude) at Pierre Chilli and he threw a knee slider at me. Top result!

One of my fave bands but Mrs Ubit hates the guys voice so always fast forwards their songs when they land on random. 

 

 

 

Edit. I watch their videos often but Nikki, the bass player still looks like she was recruited yesterday and is unsure of her bass parts. She always looks embarrassed to be on stage. I know she is decent but she needs to work on her stage craft.

That is a very bold claim! But one I support! I'm more of an OM fan than Sleep or Shrinebuilder, but Al is bloody awesome in all of it. He's a nice guy too.
