ASW
Thrust by Herbie Hancock. Very funky. I found this in a record shop in Bristol a couple of weeks ago. Nice bass playing by Paul Jackson.

Bing, Frank, Dino, Nat, Andy Williams, Doris, Burl Ives, Fred Waring, Vaughan Monroe. Season's greetings, you slackers.

upside downer
Elizabeth Cotten with her trademark 'Cotten picking' style on her song Freight Train. Her voice is a little frail but she must be in her eighties here and her playing dexterity is wonderful. All played on a right-handed guitar flipped over and still strung for a righty. Tremendous technique. What a woman! 4

SteveXFR
I've been in the office today so it's been headphones on all day and exploring new (to me) music. Emma Ruth Rundle was the highlight. Beautiful yet bleak and dark.

garyt
I have been playing the new Arch Enemy and Behemoth albums for the last 2 weeks, and they are both in my top 10 albums of 2022. And seeing them in a double headliner at Brixton Academy on Sunday night.
Grimalkin
"I ate civilization. It poisoned me; I was defiled. And then," he added in a lower tone, "I ate my own wickedness." Aldous Huxley - Brave New World. Which was the inspiration for the track.
