Reggaebass Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Some John Holt this morning, big reggae bassline 2 Quote
Barking Spiders Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 I've recently been playing a couple of Flaming Lips albums including Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots. This track, arguably their most well known song, never fails to bring a lump to the throat. It's obvious why. Quote
upside downer Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 Something different. Kazakhstani Domra from Yerzhan Zhamenkeyev vs Kyrgyzstani Komuz from Zakirbek Duishenbek Uulu and then they swap instruments. Both sport splendid headwear. 4 Quote

I wonder if they have a bass version? Thank you for sharing these great players. 1 Quote

They certainly put rock 6 string merchants to shame. Great threads too. Who are all the suits in the front row then? Quote

StickyDBRmf Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 How do you embed a youtube vid? Anyway, Hip Hop Lollipop feat. Fantaazma. It's Bootsy, baby, his latest. Fantaazma reminds me of Nina Hagen. Quote
Fishfacefour Posted November 2, 2022 Posted November 2, 2022 Listened to this for the first time today. Have never got round to king crimson for some reason. Will need another few listens to get to grips with everything going on, but was a lot better than I expected 2 Quote

NancyJohnson Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 I've been on EQX 102.7fm all day. They're a tiny radio station in Manchester, VT, they just do alternative music, all good. Found so much new stuff through them. They broadcast from a quintessential/beautiful house in a little village in the Green Mountains, about 40km northeast of Albany NY. Quote
TheLowDown Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Special Affairs by The Internet. The bassline is so clear in the mix 1 Quote
