Welcome to Day 4 of my Christmas Journey. Today and tomorrow we'll be hearing about the animals that help Santa out on his big night.

Welcome to the fifth and final day of my Christmas music journey. For the final day I've got my favorite Christmas song lined up. It's about the year that Rudolph was sick, so he had to call in help.

Joe Diffie - Leroy The Redneck Reindeer

Merry Christmas y'all.

I have a huge (15 hour) Christmas playlist on Spotify...all old crooners; Bing, Deano, Doris, Frank, Fred Waring, Burl Ives etc.  Just stick it on shuffle.  We usually put it on on Christmas Day and it sees us through all day, then back to normal programming on Boxing Day.

roll on February when the new album drops. On the subject of new (to me) albums are the two excellent 2022 releases from Future Sound of London - Rituals and A Space of Partial Illumination. Here's the top lead track off the former

Since hearing the sad news about Maxi Jazz I've been playing the EP version of several of their classics. If I had to nominate a greatest dance track of all time Insomnia is very likely it. I've seen them twice, both times at Glastonbury, including the year below. I'm somewhere in that crowd, a bit stoned and dancing like a loon

I’m home cooking lunch. Rest of the fam is out collecting Grandma so for now it’s noisy music! Threshold’s Dividing Lines album. My fave new album of the year!

[Edit] they’re back home… back to Xmas tunes…
