NancyJohnson Posted January 24, 2024 Posted January 24, 2024 A while back I lost a hard drive containing a load of audio. There was an album on there called Shrapnel & Bone by @Wolverinebass which he released under the name of Wolves On The Ithica Skyline. I found the drive, got it in a caddy and attached it to my PC yesterday. To my delight, there it was gathering (digital) dust. Listening now. It's great thing. Very Tool. Very A Perfect Circle. 1 Quote

Thanks squire, youre too kind. I'm actually working on a 2nd album just now. It's really just fitting it in between family, 2 bands and whatnot. Hopefully by the summer. 1 Quote

TrevorR Posted January 26, 2024 Posted January 26, 2024 Sitting on the train listening to Yes - Live from Lyon. This was the only recording released with Oliver Wakeman in the band in the late 2000s (until he dug out the tracks the band were working on when he got booted out and finished them off the other year). He’s quite a chip off his dad’s old block. Shame this version of the band didn’t last longer before he was ditched in favour of bringing Geoff Downes back into the band. He’s a much more lyrical player than Downes and feels more suited to the Yes vibe to my ear. Shame. 1 Quote

MichaelDean Posted January 29, 2024 Posted January 29, 2024 I'm currently enjoying Slower, with musicians from Monolord, Kyuss and Fu Manchu doing slowed down versions of Slayer songs to make them doomy. I never got into Slayer, but I like this! 1 1 Quote

Barking Spiders Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Only recently decided to check out Smooth Chill on the DAB band . Definitely the best of the DAB radio stations specialising in downtempo and ambient electronica and other laid back stuff that aren't played anywhere else. Playlist includes the likes of St Germain, Fila Brazillia, Massive Attack, UNKLE, Moby, Groove Armada, Bent, Nightmares on Wax, Royksopp and Bonobo. Great stuff! Quote
