Woodinblack
Wolf alice. Got it yesterday. like it. And actually bought it online as a flac from QoBuz, who I hadn't heard of before but 7digital didn't work, and failed to respond to my question as to why. alyctes
Joni Mitchell - Hejira. New buy. Not sure about it.
TrevorR
Could be a grower. I had to work at it a bit as a callow 22 year old when I first bought it. Was worth the relistening. There's some great stuff in there. On the other hand, it might just prove you don't actually like it... ;-)
Rich
Redemption, 'Snowfall on Judgment Day'. I seem to be listening to a lot of prog rock/metal lately, loving it all.
TheGreek
I met up with a guitarist friend who I hadn't seen in ages - long conversation about what we're listening to - he's really into The Meters - I came home and I've been listening to them on YT almost non stop... Wonky2
Laetitia sadier ( ex stereolab singer) latest album "something shines"..... Beautiful ... https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0jQCl94PAqs Never hear any one on any bass forum mention stereolab ? Their early stuff is a bit chordal and very repetitive but mid way through their back catalogue they acquired a new bass player...... Changed everything..... From "dots and loops" album onwards is great with some great bass sounds.....as well as seductive French female vox.... Mesmerises me For example : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2tIEf4hq6n8 Would like to know what most think of this as I always think I'm just out there in my own liking this stuff https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8XGKMVeXpAI Edited November 25, 2015 by Wonky2
RandomProddy
Can't get enough of this! I know it probably doesn't quite fit with the core "basschat" ethos but it's such a great sound! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Xo64Q2ucQ8
ambient
Recently I've been listening to Harold Budd. His piano playing is nothing short of exquisite. Just piano, his more ambient stuff is beautiful, but I prefer just his piano playing on it's own.
Cato
Graham Central Station. I love it so much I've just ordered the first 5 Sly & the Family Stone albums. I just can't get enough late 60s/70s soul/funk in the last few months, having spent most of my life completely ignorant of the genre.
Lynottfan
Just started getting into MxPx some decent power punk and a rather nice Stingray bass sound going on.
