I'm in a bit of a Crowded House phase at the moment, I've loved them for years, since the late '80s and rate Neil Finn's songwriting very highly. I've enjoyed going back and immersing myself in albums I've loved but not listened to for a long time, particularly Together Alone from 1993 which is their best, I think.

Everything about it is so good.

I met up with a fellow Basschater for Coffee and lunch the other day.
He told me he hated the album and it was 'Terrible Jazz W*****g'.

Apart from that, a good lunch. We must do it again.

Kate Tempest - Let them eat chaos

It's one of the best albums I've heard for a very long time. Her poetry/lyrics and delivery are astounding, perfectly backed by a lo-first synth soundtrack.
