bassbiscuits Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Currently listening to the Virginmarys EP Sitting Ducks. Saw them live two weeks ago and they were fantastic. Also just bought Scott IV by Scott Walker having heard a few songs last week which were intriguing. Quote
Twigman Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Mixes of our new album - at home, in the car, in the office, on my ipod walking about - as many environments and speakers as possible - trying to determine which things in which mixes work best and which mixes should be released. Quote

This new album is proper polished compared to anything we've done before - even my sister was tapping her foot to it!! Edited April 18, 2018 by Twigman Quote

still-young Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 I saw Arcade Fire in Manchester on the 8th, so I've been listening to them a hell of a lot lately. They're fantastic live, put on a great show. Quote
mikel Posted April 20, 2018 Posted April 20, 2018 Listening to the whole Roxy Music back catalog. Saw Ferry at the City Hall in Newcastle on Sunday and it fired up my latent "Roxy" gene. The music is still quirky, surprising, weird and relevant 45 years on. 2 Quote

bartelby Posted April 24, 2018 Posted April 24, 2018 In September 1988 I went to see Metallica at the Birmingham NEC, a few weeks later I found a bootleg of it at a record fair. I wore those tapes out over the years, I still have the 2nd tape but the 1st tape is long gone. But I've just found the bootleg online! Now blasting it out and the memories of the late 80s are flooding back! Quote
