jacko
Just been spinning Yes' second offering 'Time and a Word'. Haven't listened to it for 10 or 15 years but it still sounds fresh and most definitely 'Yes' music unlike the last 2 albums which I found truly boring). What is really remarkable is just how inventive Chris Squire was back then - His playing comes across really prominently on the original vinyl (apparently due to the sound guy having the bass turned down in his headphones so he kept turning chris up) so it's really easy to make out every note. Unfortunately Pete Banks guitar takes a bit of a back seat but there's still plenty of wonderful music on there.

Daz39
Blind Melon - Soup: meh The Amps - Pacer - not bad, could have tried less hard at trying not to care, but it was ok.
LegateNaarifin
Ever since their newest album came out I've been really digging TesseracT. There's some really cool bass playing in there, if prog/metal is your cup of tea. Right this moment I'm listening to Juno, which has a wicked bass line in the first verse

It's superb, I'd not heard that one before this afternoon, but it's got to be one of my favourite grind albums.

When I listen to the From the Archives series there's so many quality tunes FSOL must be ultra picky guys not to have included them on their albums proper.
