Wil Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Toots and the Maytals. Some best of compilation or other. It might be gray and drizzley outside, but it doesn't feel like it when you're listening to Toots. Quote
Rich Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Loads of stuff on random play. Currently playing Rascal Flatts' "Life Is A Highway". Quote
fatback Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 Miles Davis - kind of blue Paul Chambers on bass. Awesome. Quote
waynepunkdude Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 This She has such an amazing voice and when stripped down to just bass and keys it really shows what a great voice she has. She is pretty hot too which doesn't hurt. Quote

WHUFC BASS Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 The Eagles - Early Bird. If you haven't heard it, give it a listen - why this wasn't one of their more well known hits I will never know. Quote

Wil Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Streetlight Manifesto - 99 Songs of Revolution. Newly released covers record. Don't think it's up to much so far, it's got a terrible, terrible cover of Just by Radiohead which tarnishes the whole affair. Awful. Great cover of Such Great Heights by The Postal Service at the end of the record, though. Quote
faceman Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I'm listen to two new Jazz additions while heading on the train down to London. Listening to Miles Davis A Tribute To Jack Johnson and Sonny Rollins and The Contemporary Leaders. Both are excellent and I'm surprised I like the Rollins one, as I'm not a fan of acoustic jazz but the melodies are so perfect. Quote
Duarte Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 This. Well I am.. Impeccable bass work there! Quote
xilddx Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 I'm being self-indulgent and listening to a mix of a song from Krupa's new album that I've been sent. Can't wait to hear the rest, sounds awesome! We recorded the bass and drums in May, this is the first time I've heard it since! Quote
