Maverick Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 As it's what I've mostly been listening to today - free EP from Trent Reznor's new project anyone? http://www.howtodestroyangels.com/ Might not be everyone here's cup of tea, but if you like NIN then you might like it. I wasn't sure at first, but I've just listened to it through about 4 times in a row and now love it. Quote

Clarky Posted June 7, 2010 Posted June 7, 2010 (edited) Mrs Clarky is listening to "Island Life" by Grace Jones, some dross but also some really great songs Her version of the Pretender's "Private Life" is fantastically atmospheric with a great (and very simple) reggae bass line* Edit * think its Robbie Shakespeare as Sly 'n Robbie are credited on the original album Edited June 7, 2010 by Clarky Quote
WalMan Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 The new Spocks Beard CD (X). Pre ordered ages ago (they used the Marillion method this time round) and it arrived while I was away on a conference for the last couple of days. Only a pre order for me not in the Honorary Exec Producers list, or featured in on of the songs, as the Hon Execs were. That package (nice as it would be to support a band I love) was a bit out of my price range! MrsW was out shopping when I got home so I got an uninterrupted listen through before she got back. Generally liking it a lot & wil be giving it another blast on the way to work (and probably home again) tomorrow Quote
