Paul S Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 Following links on YouTube I stumbled upon this new blues/rock guitarist - Eric Johanson. Strong album 'Burn It Down' - title track is a winner, as are several others. Quote
Richard R Posted June 5, 2020 Posted June 5, 2020 Les Claypool on bass. If you like that sort of thing 😉 2 Quote

However I am currently enjoying my just delivered Allan Holdsworth 'Frankfurt '86'. As if someone would name a city after a sausage! Tchh. Quote
TheMaartian Posted June 6, 2020 Posted June 6, 2020 Just released by the band...the uncensored video of Jeremy. 1 Quote

Kiwi Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Alan Parson's Project live in Colombia, wardrobe clearly borrowed from an ageing, 1990's Italian beauty pageant host. 2 Quote
Crawford13 Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Always thought Robert Sledge didn't get the credit he deserved as a bass player, I guess when you are in a band with a genius like Ben Folds your talent is likely to get over shadowed. Anyway this song has a great bass solo and a funny video. Enjoy... 5 Quote

ead Posted June 7, 2020 Posted June 7, 2020 Just discovered YYNOT. Aside from doing pretty decent Rush covers they have a couple of CDs of original material. CLearly influenced by Rush but a good listen. Great bass tone too. 1 Quote
Skinnyman Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 I just got the Steven Wilson remix of this... ...which I am thoroughly enjoying. Free Hand will be next... 1 Quote

Just checked them out watching Kingdom Come. Not bad at all. Certainly nailed Geddy's bass sound! Edit: just got to the vocals... hell yes! Etheria is a blinding track too! I like this band. Cheers for the heads-up! 😎 Edited June 9, 2020 by odysseus 1 Quote

The bass player is well known on Youtube for doing bass reviews many of them relating to Rush of course but he is a phenomenal player who does pull some really fun faces while playing. 2 Quote
