AndyTravis Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 This - absolutely loved it. Made hairs on my arms stand up, having played this in several covers bands - I was really happy to hear this reworked version. Roisin Murphy is absolutely ace. 5 Quote
DaytonaRik Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 (edited) Just discovered Robert Jon and the Wreck - cracking country blues rock. I found them via Warren Huart's Produce Like A Pro Academy as one of their tracks (Blame It On The Whiskey) was available as a full tracks download to mix yourself - really enjoying listening to the album and using it as a reference for my own mix. https://open.spotify.com/album/4RxUU9OJtfW5J2FEANa1Aj?si=O_7N-dcVS02CZ2A9DIUIrg Edited January 1, 2021 by DaytonaRik 1 Quote

NancyJohnson Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Old school US rock today. A bit of Starz and then (if my ears can get past the screeching) a bit of Angel. Quote
Reggaebass Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 I bought a few cds from a charity shop for my work van and this was in it, what a great tune Quote
steantval Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 (edited) Cracking Joey B track, brilliant bass playing by Michael Rhodes. Edited January 5, 2021 by steantval Quote
Old Man Riva Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 Another song I loved as a kid. This had a real other-worldliness about it. Something different going on. I think Errol Brown was a really underrated songwriter. Can’t think of many songwriters who have a breadth of work, in terms of Top 10 singles, that can be unashamedly ‘pop’ one minute and then cover subject matter such as suicide and interracial relationships the next. A talented guy... 3 Quote
