We then gigged with the DJ. As he faded the track out we took over, then after a suitable time he brought up the next tune. I miss that guy, and owning a music venue. When I was in my 30s it felt as if anything was possible. We would regularly form bands for just one or two gigs. Every other punter was a musician - or so it seemed. Our Christmas and NYE ensemble bands were something to behold! 3 Quote
Dad3353 Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 I will never understand why Casady is not more listened to. Superb stuff from the Master (there's plenty more out there...). The others aren't bad, either..! Best listened to as complete albums, of course, even with the 'strange' stuff. Naturally, the segue between tracks is interrupted by the separation into files, but still. Quote

ezbass Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 I’ve been coming back to this, time and again over the last 2 days. Short and sweet, but I’m loving it. 1 Quote
NancyJohnson Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 KT Tunstall. Only know a couple of early songs and well, it's just nice quiet Sunday afternoon stuff. Funny...as I was writing this it got unnecessarily sweary. Shame. 1 Quote
