bobbass4k Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 The new Oceansize album, the slightly macarbley titled Self Preserved While The Bodies Float Up. My face, it is melted. The songs aren't as good as frames (on which every song was amazing) but it just sits together as an album beautifully. Quote

Adam Blackstone's Bass work on it is great. It's just a great album all around. I'm listening to the Velvet Underground 'Loaded' Quote

Chris2112 Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 "Was it something I said" by Brandon Flowers. Possibly the best track I've ever heard him on. Amazing melody with lovely 80's style synth tones supplemented by a driving gritty bassline and 80's style shimmering guitars. The lyrics tell a pretty compelling story too for such a short song. I've been hammering the bassline all day on my Kubicki. Quote
