Back in the day PJ were pretty wild live. Not for them shoegazing!

I’ve only seen the once. That was the first time they toured the UK.

Listening on catch up to 6Music - Gideon Coe's bible-themed special (5th April). A mix of secular and non-secular songs with a bible reference.

Here's a gospel choice - Doris Troy , "Jacobs Ladder". Nice bass line.

Just discovered this band and album!

Reminds me a lot of Fall of Efrafa, and somewhat of Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra, but then again Fall of Efrafa was partially inspired by Godspeed You! Black Emperor, so that adds up...

I just listened to about 10 seconds from every post on the last two pages. (there is too much music available) But I saw Julian Lage I hadn't seen him in awhile.

When I'm in the car I have F.Z. WRMF, UM, BWS, WJ/HR, & TGW. Also two cd's Rob Zombie (itsa Z thing)

10 seconds eh......  I won't take up that much of your time:

Yesterday I picked up a Glitter Band greatest hits for £3. Bargain! When I was around 9 or 10 I used to  nick my older sister's Glam 45s which included a lot of GB tunes. And they're mostly top quality pop-rock. It's such a shame they've been tarnished by their former employer's rep that they no longer get any airplay. I think this was their biggest hit

Haven’t heard that for years, great tune ☝️

Yeah, I'd always forgotten who it was by so hadn't heard it ages either. Excellent bittersweet sound and message.

Today's random Friday factor, Al Pacino's an actor who drives a tractor....
