51m0n Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 My remastering (or DIY effort thereof) of the nephs first two albums Sounds pretty good so far! Quote
benh Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 "Hyperventilate" by Frost* at the moment, ace British prog band. I also find it amusing that their albums so far have been written and recorded in a glorified shed in the keyboardist's garden! Quote

I think Israel Crosby is one of the unsung greats of jazz bass (not forgetting the fact that he has one of the collest names in Jazz) Quote

Marvin Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 (edited) REM - And I Feel Fine - The Best of the IRS years. Probably the first band I really got into and have coloured my musical tastes ever since. I'm currently reminiscing . Edited September 30, 2010 by Marvin Quote
Truckstop Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Elbows cover of U2's 'Running To Stand Still'. Probably my favourite cover of all time. In fact, when I listen to it, it doesn't feel like a cover. It feels like a song that Elbow wrote themselves and they really have made it all their own here. Lovely bass riff at the end too.
