StickyDBRmf
I'm listening to everything on this page on top of each other. Tell me I'm the first to do this.
StickyDBRmf
BTW: The magic number is always three. Two beats you can focus on one. More than three the beats don't sync. Three is like cosmic soup.
StickyDBRmf
I learned this in a rehab where there were 32 people listening to 32 things at 32 different times.
SteveXFR
I don't know why but I always thought I didn't like The Cure. Turns out I was wrong so this afternoon I listened to their performance at Glastonbury. I was at the festival but I have no idea where I was during this performance. Stub Mandrel
Born Under a Bad Sign, Albert King. Duck Dunn... he plays all these now clichéd bass riffs, except he doesn't, he adds in little things that most people don't.

I distinctly remember borrowing a mono LP of that from the drummer at church years ago. I put it on, knowing it was a record that changed the industry, but still expecting to hear the usual early 60's slightly thin guitar sound but with some better technique. Oh my word! It sounds like it was recorded years later. No wonder it blew people's minds.
Graham
I'm very much enjoying the new Carcass album at the moment, took a couple of listens to get it, but now it really hits home.
