They seem to be trying to be a darker more twisted version of TOOL both musically and visually. I really like it.

Unfortunately trying is no longer applicable, ISIS called it a day in june. I'd have given a kidney to be at their final show. They did support tool on one tour as I recall.

Yeah they're a great band. I first heard them guesting on a Fishbone tune (One Planet People) about was glad I did.

Bass player gets a great sound out of that baby bass. :)

I really like Neurosis and their alterego Tribes of Neurot.

Just finished listening to Operation LiveCrime for the seventh time in two days before wondering if I was becoming obsessed. Attempted to vary things slightly by giving Fates Warning's 'No Exit' album a listen. Superb IMO, some of the riffs sound a bit out of sorts when placed together within songs but overall seems to be a pretty great album (some lovely bass as well).

Pain of Salvation: Rope Ends.

Can't get it out of my head. Round and round it goes.

Also the entirety of the new Blind Guardian album. Outstanding, especially Wheel of Time.
