Richard R Posted January 15, 2022 Posted January 15, 2022 This series of podcasts is just great! Ian Anderson is always entertaining, Adam Clayton really interesting, Nick Mason a gentleman of the first order. Ramble all over the place, but hey, it's in the title 😁 Quote
Barking Spiders Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 (edited) Extended version of this. Still an absolute blinder of a debut. Greatest band from Liverpool!!! 😁 Edited January 16, 2022 by Barking Spiders Quote

I would certainly have some contributions to make to that 😎 Although would like to discuss the coolest thread title name for it ever possible before proceeding .. 1 Quote

I have the LP of Variations, but haven't played it in ages. Did find this on YT though. I forgot that the title sequence changed over the years. Quote

It's probably 65% reggae ranging from Rebel Sojie dub, to Bill Laswell's Dub Chamber to the Abyssininans... That's all likely to be interspersed with stuff like Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers, Fatback Band and bizarrely, early Simple Minds and Monochrome Set. 1 Quote

They have gone back to what they did a few years ago and only play insipid covers of great music. Makes me want to scream. Quote
