Love me some 90s hip hop/rap and IMO Definition of Sound definitely the best the UK scene had to offer then. Their sound was pretty varied and usually featured live instruments in addition to samples.

I've been on a bit of a Tears For Fears marathon today.  I'm listening to the new album.  I'll give it a listen in 5.1 after dinner.

I'm just listening to the first Duran Duran album.  I got a cheap copy of the deluxe edition a while back and never listened to it until now.

 

It's really not aged that well and it pretty wretched.  Assuming they played everything on it, observations? Simon Le Bon can't sing for toffee and they probably would have sounded better without Nick Rhodes musical and background noise contribution.
