Barking Spiders Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Here's one of my fave tunes from one of my fave guitar bands, House of Love. By far the best band on Creation's roster (not you Oasis!!) and should've been at least as big as The Smiths. Unfortunately, drugs and infighting seem to have put the kybosh on that 1 Quote
Cato Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 I hear this earlier from a band I was aware of but had never listened to. It's sent me down a bit of an Everything Everything rabbit hole. Quote
Skin Lewis Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 (edited) Once a year or so I get obsessed with one of my favourite local bands: this from the Swagger era of their ever changing lineup. Edited April 1, 2022 by Skin Lewis 1 Quote
Nail Soup Posted April 1, 2022 Posted April 1, 2022 Just finished the 6-CD box set by the Fall of all their sessions for John Peel. 24 sessions in total from the bands emergence in 1978 to Peels death in 2004. Here's one song that was never had a studio release. Amazing that they could afford to sit on such a good song (non-Fall fans may disagree of course!). Mess of My: Quote

garyt Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Tortured Demon. really young band and first support on the Evile tour. Their average age was 15, and they really meant it. I ended up buying their album and absolutely love it. Quote
