SteveXFR Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Today I've been enjoying Elephant Tree. Absolutely superb stoner metal, kind of spacey at times and very heavy at others. No idea how low that bass is tunes but it's very low. 1 Quote

KingBollock Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 I’ve got my entire Hair Metal playlist on shuffle. I’m singing along very, very loudly, and very, very badly. I messaged my wife to tell her not to walk in without warning me. I told her I was watching porn. 2 Quote

Old Man Riva Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 It’s a rock ‘n’ roll morning, and I don’t think it gets much better than Bon era AC/DC (not a fan of the Brian Johnson era). Saw them at Cov Theatre in 1978 and to this day it’s still one of the best gigs I’ve seen. Sadly this wasn’t in the set but it’s one of my favourite tracks of theirs. This features the bluesy outro, which didn’t appear on the vinyl version at the time, and does sound a little odd (or maybe it’s what you get used to?). Anyway, over to Bon… 1 Quote

Barking Spiders Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 These days I frequently find myself wishing I could be back in the 80s on a loop. Best decade of my life. Here a couple of bangers from Simple Minds that take me right back... 1 Quote
