TheGreek
After reading Mick Karn's autobiography and how David Sylvian would manipulate situations till he got his own way I feel like a bit of an Iscariot however I couldn't help but buy David Sylvian's "Gone to Earth". Have a listen to the first track - some really good fretless work - and you'll forgive me...

SteveXFR
I've been listening to Brutus a lot since seeing them last week at Arctangent Festival. Great band and I've never seen anyone drum and sing at the same time while doing both to such a high level. A seriously talented lady

It really stirred some emotions listening to it. What a very good songwriter. Wouldn't recognise him if he fell on my head from a high roof. Still got it... but playing one of those guitars that dentists and doctors buy to hang on walls.

lemonstar
Out takes with Elvis invariably cracking up laughing - from an era when almost everything was done in one take. I have the vinyl packed away in a box in the garage but was nice to finally find it again.

That is an interesting album - a rich complex sound - not that I was expecting Billy Bragg or anything. Glad you mentioned it.
