Shaggy
In my ongoing personal project of listening to stuff I meant to listen to more to in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s but never got around to, I’ve been listening to “The Fox box”, a 4 CD set of all of recorded material from the 1970’s pop band Fox. Some decent songwriting, and very good production and musicianship (including some nice bass playing). However, unlike the last band I was listening to - Renaissance - who were SO much more creatively than the one single that they’re remembered for (“Northern lights”), I think Fox’s musical apex probably was the one single that they’re remembered for (“S-s-s-single bed”). Mind, Noosha Fox does have one of the most sensual voices in popular music.....🥰

Barking Spiders
Not been able to get enough of the fantastic Hybrid, an epic electronica band that usually feature live orchestration along with drums, guitars, bass as well. They also write a lot of music for films and video games.

pst62
I love the tone of the Jazz Bass during the intro, I could never get mine to sound like that, I'm guessing there may be a pedal at play? I was never one for pedals in my playing/gigging days.
