Wil Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Bjork - Vespertine. Revisiting this record, the arrangements are really very nice indeed. Love the beats in particular, electronic but so warm and organic sounding. Quote

bartelby Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Listening to Fugazi, live in Leeds 31/10/2002. Amazing set. What I love about Fugazi is they never used set lists. They react to how the crowd responds and how they feel. But they're so tight as a band they can launch into a track without a count in and not miss beat. Will be listening to Detroit 01/10/1995 next. Mog Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Been listening to this guy a lot lately. Gonna mess around with the tuning of the 4 higest strings on the 6er and try some of his tunes at the next jam session. Quote

LiamPodmore Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 The Live in Kansas acoustic section of Shinedown's "Somewhere In The Stratosphere" DVD. Quite possibly the best live performance ever caught on film (IMO) and they managed to take one of, if not THE biggest Foo Fighters Hit "Times Like These" and play it better than the Foo Fighters ever could (Again, IMO, and i love the Foos) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faX0V-FVcyE&feature=related 3 of what i think are the best male vocalists in rock nowadays, all in one band.
