OutToPlayJazz
A pupil of mine recently got an Epiphone Thunderbird. Now I know they're oversized and a bit outlandish, but I have a real hankering to get one. Same goes for the new Ibanez SR300. Both cheap basses, but I want one! What cheapies are you hankering after this week?

For reasons I can't explain, I've been hankering for one fo these for some time: http://www.arbiter.co.uk/italia/electric_b...bass_guitar.htm A blue tolex bass - who could resist that?! OutToPlayJazz
Yes, I know what you mean, Simon! You know it's not going to be the best thing you've ever played but there is something undeniably cool about those Italia basses.

Dr.Dave
Sorry but I missed the bit about gassing for cheaper end stuff - my picks hardly come under that umbrella. So - tried a couple of OLP ray-a-likes at the Yorks bass bash and I loved them , esp the Tony Levin sig which I don't think cost a packet. Maybe , if a really good playing OLP 5er came along ....maybe.
Tee
Probably one of those Squier VM Jazz basses, with the block inlays. Cheapy cheap.
EBS_freak
actually been looking at getting a sat nav for getting to gigs. I actually have a sat nav on my phone... but I have learnt that they are not to clever when at a critical point of driving the phone rings. I've had enough. Sat nav standalone it is! Merton
No GAS this week, I've actually clearly been feverish as I've been thinking (highly illogically) about what else I can SELL. Somebody shoot me now before something else ends up on the for sale forum.
