I know it always gets said… but the standard of entries this month is superb! Really good work everyone.

And nice to see some old friends back amongst us (welcome back Mr Stone - a very fine track indeed).

Cheers all :drinks:

That was a great picture, as it obviously created a lot of inspiration. As the first voter, it's no big secret that I've voted for Dad this time round. Marvellous stuff. There was a lot of top quality composition there, well done everybody.

Great tunes this month. My own ended up being a load of unfinished sh*te. Looks like Dads genius has shone through again this month. Totally blown away by Dads contribution. Another song has also caught my attention but I'm not sure if it's because it reminds me of something else. I'm holding off voting for a few more days. I've got the house to myself Saturday morning so I'll have a proper listen, full blast. Only then shall I cast my vote.

Didn't have time to do anything for this one (shame on me it was my pic ) but have just voted and there are some really good tracks this month as usual, hard choice but I voted for the one I thought fitted he pic well, but it was close.

Well done to all who made the effort :)

Arghhh, this is tough! I'm normally very decisive about choosing my favourite, but I'm torn between a bunch of them this month. That can only be a good thing :)

Wait, what, where did June go?! I was going to enter this one! Bah! Next month...

Again, so many that could have gotten my vote but for sheer atmosphere and a brilliant representation of the picture I think Dad nailed it.

No, sirree, there's too many great compo's proposed this month to go counting chickens so soon. Besides, I've no more cheques for bribes..!
Really 'chuffed' for now, though, and a genuine surprise, seeing as how... No, fuller story at end of voting. Keep 'em coming, anyway, whoever is your favourite. Plenty of time before Monday for things to change, I'm sure.

7 entries and only 14 people have voted.... poor showing from the rest of the forum
Indeed it is, Rob! I think there's only a minority of people who really enjoy listening to new music. I think the majority "know what they like and like what they know", and so daren't venture down to the depths of this 'ere Recording forum. Or perhaps more accurately, can't be bothered.

To each their own. It's very typical of every music forum I've been involved in, so it's certainly not a phenomenon that's unique to Basschat. We're lucky to have a cadre of regular participants that all get along and enjoy themselves - that's very rare indeed, so we should be thankful for that if nothing else! :)

I'll give it another 'bump' in the general forum and on Twitter today.

Now if only we knew of someone who's adept at cunning publicity stunts on this forum, who could lend a hand... right any bells? Douglas?? ;)

Whilst I'm here, may I mention the June BC Photo Challenge, for which you are also invited to vote..! Here's the link...

Somewhat of a novelty this month, as the subject was 'Captionable Photos', and all are invited to add witty (or not..!) captions to the entries, as well as voting for one's favourite. Give it a glance; you won't regret it, I'm confident..! B)
