bassist_lewis
Hello all, I ordered a hipshot Xtender from America at the start of May and they gave me delivery date of 30th June (Monday). What's confusing me is that on eBay's tracking page it says 'delivered' even thought it's not. Has anyone else encountered this when ordering from overseas? skywalker
Go back to the vendor and get the name and tracking number of the actual courier and track it on their website. Delivered on E-Bay might mean delivered to the courier company.
AntLockyer
USPS tracking will say delivered once the Royal mail have it sometimes and always if you have fees to pay (and have paid them).
bassist_lewis
Ah bugger. Is the USPS tracking number still valid with Royal Mail or will they have assigned their own?
AntLockyer
Still valid.

rogerstodge
I won't ship from the states again, i got stung for $180 for a special licence to ship mother of pearl in the dot neck inlays in my Gibson sg bass, I'm not even convinced its M.O.P, it says its synthetic on the gibson website but customs wouldn't budge. Maude
I ordered a couple of sets of Fenders nylons from the states, they were on the door mat one day with a label on the packet saying I have to pay about four quid VAT and £8 Royal Mail handling charge before it can be handed over. The postie just put them through the letterbox, I guess he was in trouble when he got back. Me? I haven't received any package . Remarkably I haven't ever had to pay for anything and I've had all sorts from USA, Australia, the far east etc.
