The Walloper
I have an intermittent problem with my stingray where it will suddenly have this weird wet fuzz/delay effect through it. Only started happening recently and not got a clue what it may be. I have attached a sound clip demonstrating what the issue is. Any other bass is fine, so I've narrowed it down to the bass. Any help would be appreciated. http://www.filedropper.com/voice0006
martthebass
Have you tried putting new batteries in yet?
The Walloper
Have you tried putting new batteries in yet?
Not yet, but I shall source a new one tomorrow. Strange if it is the battery on the Stingray. Only had it for a few months. I have a Fender Jag which is active and when the battery is done on that, I get no output at all. Thought this would be the case on the ray. Old Horse Murphy
I had exactly this issue when the battery went on one of my Rays. Hopefully it's as simple as that Also, just in case you weren't aware, if you leave a jack plug in the bass even when not in use, it zaps the battery.
