let's hope there are some health and safety warnings near the handles.... "If you can't pick something up without hitting yourself with it, go find someone with a brain and get them to pick this up for you"

Is that a port on the side?

I'll be disappointed if it is.

Looks like it, was always having a port tho wasn't it?

Isn't it meant to sound like a sealed cab but with the added pluses of being ported? I could be wrong of course

Why? Is it the existence of the port or its location that is the problem?

I knew there was a port involved, I just hoped that it was at the front of the cab.

Anywhere else has the potential to cause me problems on some of the postage stamp sized stages and areas I usually get play in these days.

The port should still function correctly when it is downward firing, (if the size of the feet are correct then the gap under the cab acts as an extension to the length of the port), and it looks like the cab has been designed with this in mind, or BF wouldn't have put feet on the same face of the cab as the port.

Let's be cunning and stand the thing upright on the thoughtfully provided feet? - Then the port is underneath (the badge is also sideways at that point, but hey-ho).

If I owned this cab I'd have 2, and I'd be stacking them horizontally.

A flat solid surface isn't guaranteed and vertical isn't always a safe option for many of the gigs I do.

Give me one of those running at 4ohms, two full-range speakers (no vintage/sealed mambo jambo) and a tweeter and i'll be a happy bunny.

I've talked to Alex a long time ago about designing what i called a "Super10T" (i'm very creative, i know) but he told me that that wasn't on his plans. Now i'm seeing this cab going out i'm hoping that it inspires him to think about adding another option to his cathalog ;)

Oh! And tolex with silver cloth rules!!!!!

Haven't read every single post... has anyone actually taken delivery of one of these and do we know what it sounds like yet??

My 2p: A 12ohm cab makes a lot of sense as you could use one without stressing it in the slightest - around sixty-five percent (or thereabouts) of the power that you'd get into an 8ohm cab - and the option to use three cabs @ 4ohms, thereby making this cab ideal for an extremely flexible modular system.

I'd definitely be looking at one (or three... or four...) if I wasn't already 100% happy with my 21012L... but if I ever get over my current Spector GAS, who knows? I may go nuts on the cab front... Aeiough!!

would you do that to claim more stage space to yourself? cunning! :thumbsup"

not sure it'd be much good, soundwise, compared to a vertical stack.
