Unusual grain pattern (Peavey Grind content)

This Peavey Grind bass has quite an unusual grain pattern.

I'd be worried about the upper horn breaking along the grain, TBH.

It looks like it has been sanded but not re-sealed

I think it looks fantastic. Could be made in Vietnam as you don't see the scooped out lower horn on the later models.
If it's anything like my own Vietnamese Grind somebody is in for a treat.

I like the look of the natural finished through neck Grinds.
