grapevinebass Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 A human metronome needed for reformed band. The band was well known in Guildford area, but paused for 3 years and has now reformed. We have gigs promised and waiting - but need a drummer to complete the band. We play mainly blues from 70's and 80's with a few more recent songs. Lots of Rolling Stones, Cream, Blues Brothers and similar. Band has keys, guitar, bass. Keyboard player sings, and we have a female BV. We practice once a week in own studio in Haslemere. Quote

Where have they all gone - a few years ago we were fighting them off with a stick as they tried to bit our hands off. Mixed metaphors aside, Would best suit person of grey hairs, in keeping with the rest of the band. Come on your retired drummers - time to get on stage again. Quote
JTUK Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Try Neil Burton who is out of Chertsey area. Top quality dep. Prepares his parts and gives the songs some drive. I doubt he is the cheapest but the good ones normally aren't. Quote

Lots of local guys will play the gigs for a share of the fee, but don't want to practice regularly. So still looking for a local regular player. Not looking for perfection, but someone to have fun and learn with us all. Quote
