I thought the old encores were pretty good 'cheapo' basses? Going to use it as the basis for a fretless project! If this is ten years old, it might be one of them. Edit: I can't find the thread I was thinking of, but this thread might be interesting. That means it could easily be an Indian built bass, which appears to be the most desirable Encores. I haven't played any Encores, but from what I read, it'll probably be a decent bass. Very keen on going down the fretless route but not sure if my lack of technical knowledge would make it prohibitive!! Then again at £16.......doesn't really matter!!! Quote
