Annoying Twit Posted July 8, 2014 Author Posted July 8, 2014 I think that the sum total they sold for would still be a good price for either of them. Quote
Bassassin Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Great bargains for whoever snagged them, but really if you're too lazy to pack up & post a bass, it shouldn't be too surprising when you get next to bugger-all for them. Not that I'm in any way bitter that everything I like the look of seems to be 300 miles away & colection only... Jon. Quote
Happy Jack Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 In all fairness, Jon, you're way closer to all those basses in Aberdeen and Perth ... Quote
Annoying Twit Posted July 8, 2014 Author Posted July 8, 2014 Even without a car, there's quite a lot of the country that I can reach through public transport. I've bought pickup only items in both Coventry and Peterborough. I've worked out what the fares would be, and if I added on the train ticket prices to what those basses sold for, it would still be worthwhile getting them. I predict that at some point I'm going to take a big trip across the country for some bargain. Quote
alyctes Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014
In all fairness, Jon, you're way closer to all those basses in Aberdeen and Perth ...
But still a long way away! From Aberdeen, anyhow. Quote
