Funky Dunky Posted July 10, 2014 Share Posted July 10, 2014 A favourite player of mine for the very same reasons you listed above. His lines are never boring; he always takes the bass for a wee stroll and chooses the most ear-catching notes. I kinda suspect he has bass talents far greater than what we hear him do with the 'Pilots, too. I am very fortunate in that I get to play a few of his tracks (hopefully a full set soon) in my current band, he is by far the most "groovy" bass players in rock.
