Knowing John and his taste for quality gear this is likely to be a very decent bit of kit and it's a decent price, irrespective of fonts and photos

Is that a Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster? I was thinking of getting one and watched a few YouTube reviews, and there was one where the fella was playing it through a Musicmaster amp, sounded really good!

Guitarist in our band has one of these, great amp, easy genuine blues valve tone without busting ear drums and simple to maintain. Have a I wish I had the cash bump.

Thanks guys, it is very versatile ideal for bass in the more intimate environments or screaming the blues on a 6 string

Have a bump. I do have a question tho' about valve amps. How loud are they compared to say a 100 watt amp at a practice session?
I know things are smaller/lighter now, but don't understand wattage when it comes to valves.
If I was flush, I probably would've had it to go with my tele bass.
Good luck with the sale anyway ;)

Always difficult but my Marshall Super Bass 100 seems a lot louder than even a 500w solid state head, ask the audience !

This Musicmaster seems loud in my studio..........

Always fancied a Telecaster bass after seeing Carl Radle use one with Derek and the Dominoes, now I'm showing my age !
