Jag_Bassist
hi guys, unfortunately the other day at band practise my drummers cymbal fell on my pedal board and has seemed to break the resonance slider on my Electro Harmonix XO Micro Synth. looking inside the sliders say 'alpha' and I've looked and they are a company but i can't see which one on the site is for this pedal. I've tried contacting them but there has been no response... can anyone help?
paul_5
How long is it and what's printed on it? It'll probably have something like 50k B (or similar) on it somewhere. If you need a hand fixing it then PM me - I've been inside many a pedal. Edited July 10, 2014 by paul_5
paul_5
'Alpha' is the brand/manufacturer of that particular component. Not too shabby….
Jag_Bassist
hey yeah alpha is the brand it is about 4.5cm long but i can't see a K on the slider it self, but the board has 100kb printed about it do you think it is 100k then?
paul_5
Yup. it's a 100kΩ Linear slider (the letter b denotes the taper of the slider).
