Valenti J4 *SOLD* £700

This isn't getting played as I'm now concentrating on guitar so it's time to move it on. I could wax lyrical about the quality and playability of this instrument but Valenti Basses are well known for both. The Bass is in very, very good condition and has the advantage of being both active and passive. Nordstrand pups and an Aguila OB1 pre (I think) give access to just about any jazz tone you could want. It comes with a very nice soft/hard case. Any trial is welcome. £700.

JBF, the case is a Hard/soft really good quality made by TKL. This is the nearest example I could find.

[/quote] no worries! If I remember rightly it has some kind of voltage multiplier in the battery connect lead that means the preamp runs at 18v. It's a great bass - i love the pickups, and just the feel of the neck. I bought it and another jazz at the same time.... and ended up selling them both!
